Initiated at Eta Omega Chapter, San Jose State University, May 5th, 1979. Just celebrated 43 years as member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Currently member of Sacramento Alumnae Chapter.

I currently serve in an appointed position for the Placer County Democratic Central Committee. I was elected as a Delegate for the Democratic Party in 2020 for Placer County.

Sacramento Alumnae Chapter - 2nd Vice-President. Risk Management Coordinator for chapter and oversee Program (Projects) Planning and Development for the chapter. Also has served as co-chair for Community Service Committee for a number of years. Member of Arts and Letters, Social Action, Heritage & Archives for the chapter.
